Saturday's Rally

We want to thank everyone who joined us today at Caldwell Park. We are overwhelmed by all the support we have received from the community. We want to thank the dogs foster families for bringing Pugsley, Gup, Red and Two Bears. Quiznos and Jon's coffee buddies sent some sandwiches, McDonalds provided coffee and the family cooked hot dogs for everyone. Gordon talked to the group and asked everyone to keep looking for Jon everywhere even their own back yards. He said "It could be the last place we look". We are hopeful that we'll find Jon and ask everyone to contact the Pocatello Police if they have any information that could be useful in finding Jon. We hope you enjoy the pictures that our niece Cameo took today at the rally.

Flyers in Southern Idaho

As a family we decided to put flyers up in as many places as possible and to widen the area where we put them.  On Monday Jon's brother Gordon and I took off at 8 am in our cars to cover southern Idaho with flyers.  Gordon covered the area east of Pocatello including Inkom, Lava, Macammon and Soda Springs.  Putting up as many as 70 flyers.  He called me in the afternoon and said he was very excited about the support everyone had shown him when he ask about putting up the flyers in their stores.  He told me he was  especially encouraged with the reception from the folks in Lava Hot Springs where Jon had owned property and was known by almost everyone in town.
I covered the area north and west of town also putting up about 70 flyers in many of the gas stations, restaurants and grocery stores.  Starting in Ft. Hall then going to Blackfoot and on to Arco, Carey, Shoshone, Gooding, Jerome, Wendall and Twin Falls.  I stopped in at all the police stations and post offices along the way to make sure they had the flyer and were aware that we all were searching for Jon.
There was no sign of Jon but it was encouraging to see the hope that we would find him in the eyes of those people I talked to.
